Its OK to sell your tickets...
To games they already played!!!
Thought this was appriopriate now with all the discussion of selling tickets for tomorrows game! haha
The Pats just went 16-0, so i put my ticket stub from the pats v ravens game up on ebay thinking those boston people with the $$ would want it to collect all 16 games.....I was right....it sold for $100 buy it now.

Re: Its OK to sell your tickets...
Wow!!
Props to you for even thinking of that to begin with.
The thought probably would have never even crossed my mind.
I just checked mine but it isn't in too good of shape at all.
Too bent up from being shoved in my pocket.
I guess I'll hold onto it in case one of them gets desperate enough that they want it in any shape. Will Die A Ravens Fan!!

Re: Its OK to sell your tickets...
Yeah I dont know why i held onto it, but i usually hold onto my tickets if its a good game, but i was cleaning out xmas reciepts in my office and saw it saturday afternoon and remember seeing a post on another board for somone wanting one for $25. They i checked ebay and they were ton of stubs for the giants game, then i searched the other games and saw the prices. Then as soon as the game ended last night i put it up. Im glad i found mine and was in good shape.
Someone bought a bengals v pats ticket for $165! There are very few ravens ones on there now, so even not in mint condition i think youd get a desperate buyer trying to get them all, do it now while its fresh on their minds.Season ticket holder since 1996 Section 148 Tailgate Lot H

Ouch .... shoulda waited, my friend.
The 16-0 will always be there no matter what now. The value goes up if they go undefeated AND win the Super Bowl.
If they win the big one, you would have got a lot more.

Re: Its OK to sell your tickets...
Too much.
I just looked the drawer where I keep every stub from every sporting event I go to.
I found all 6 stubs for home games so far.
And, of course, no Pats stub to be found.
I might have thrown it while walking back to the tailgate that night.

The stub might also be something nice to hang onto. Mine is in near perfect condition. I was careful with it during the game because I thought it could be a nice momento someday. It would be kind of cool to get Tom Brady to sign it someday.

Re: Its OK to sell your tickets...
I have my two tickets. If the Patriots win the Super Bowl, they will be worth more, no doubt about it. I think there will always be value in having it regardless of when it is sold.
