I recognize that we currently do use some socialist concepts in regards to public services. I just don't think those that oversee how taxed dollars are appropriated are competent enough to be effective and make the best decisions.

You're not wrong, but I also think that isn't entirely true. It's just largely dependent on how you choose to spend your money. Going to 1 game isn't crazy expensive...it's not cheap either, but you can get tickets to a Ravens game for 40-60 bucks.

For me, I'm somewhat of a paranoid fuck when it comes to being in large public places with lots of people that I dont know. Maybe it's from my time in the military...I dont know. However, my point is, the money I'd normally commit to spending on a live game (travel, parking, food/drinks, tickets, etc), I have chosen to use that money to enhance my home-viewing set up. I think that most fans are probably in line with that idea. Why spend thousands of dollars on season tickets when you could spend half of that money and buy a bomb-ass TV, surround sound, and food/drinks to enjoy games, movies, music, and much more in the comfort of your own home?
