Re: Where does the Ravens WR corps stack up?
Almost a year later, and obviously Brown has changed the narrative somewhat. Boykin has potential. Snead, Roberts, Moore, and the rest of them are nothing special at this point. I'm against bringing in a FA unless he price is right and it's a short-term deal. I see a lot of mention of Green, but I'm not sure he's healthy. We'll see I guess. I'd be more inclined to see them continue to build via the draft.

Re: Where does the Ravens WR corps stack up?
If you can't get Green/Watkins/etc on a short term deal you have to make it a point to grab the guy you like in the first couple rounds. We can't come back with the same WR group we had last year.

Re: Where does the Ravens WR corps stack up?
It wouldn't be ideal....but it wouldn't be the end of the world either. Despite the flaws of the last year's receiving corps it didn't have a negative impact on the passing game as whole.
I know they sucked and egg in the playoffs but those drops were an aberration compared to the season.
A healthy Hollywood and improved Boykin push the WR room up the ladder.
But, if a WR is BPA then you take them.
If there is WR that represents a good FA deal then you get them.

Re: Where does the Ravens WR corps stack up?
There isn't a single team I would take our WRs over looking at that list. Not really sure our best receiver (Robinson) would start as the #2 for more than a few teams. It's a joke what this organization has done at the position.

I dunno man, I’m being told in the other thread that Demarcus Robinson is every bit as good as hollywood because they have the same yards per reception on the year. Also been told in another thread that Demarcus Robinson is basically like Derrick Mason. The 12 year olds around here have really been taking me to school lately.
