Where does the Ravens WR corps stack up?

The front office, rightfully, did not bring Crabtree or John Brown back.
Those 2 were the main culprits behind a WRs group that was near the league lead in drops.

But the FO has not added to the WR group.

All signs point to the FO using at least 1 premium draft pick to address the WR position.

    But will that be enough?

Where do you think the Ravens WR room stack up across the division and across the league?

Are you concerned about the level of experience, production and talent?

The current projected Ravens's WR group would be: Rookie WR + Willie Snead, Chris Moore, Jordan Lasley, Jaleel Scott?

We’re Ravens fans, concerned is our default state and this group def gives us no reason to feel different lol. We’re younger than normal, arguably (I would argue) more talented than normal, and we have the best TE/RB rooms since we won the SB so in that sense I’m less concerned than I have been in recent years (assuming we do make that premium draft pick).

But I’ll believe our WR corps is adequate when it happens and no sooner, no matter who we draft, or who of the available bodies we sign.

Currently 33rd ranked group in NFL according to my calculations!

IMO, I feel the FO dont want to make WR a major focus until we see the development of LJ and how this offense will be ran. If we run the same offensive system, ( even if we pass more ) I really feel we should address other positions in the early rounds. A elite WR would be sort of wasted in our system assuming its pretty much the same as last year. Just my 2 cents.

Just on first glance, sell me on Buffalo and Washington. I also think (again—if we do take just about any of the top guys) there’s a good number of other teams that aren’t demonstrably better than us even if we’re not demonstrably better than them.

John Brown > Lasley and Moore (Z)
    Zay Jones > Scott
    Beasley < Snead

Washington is closer. I'd take Doctson and Richardson, but Snead is better than their slots.

Snead is a pretty good slot to have. We just need the outside guys.

Yeah I mean it's hard to say they're going to be better with our track record drafting lol.

Say we draft JJAW, well I have JJAW bias, so yeah we have better X's than both :)

GreatWhiteNorthRaven beat me to it. Zay Jones, Cole Beasley and John Brown are a better corps than Snead, Moore and Lasley. I'll take Josh Doctson and Paul Richardson over Snead, Moore and Lasley, with regard to Washington.

Re: Where does the Ravens WR corps stack up?

I'll try to go back through the depth charts, but right now, there doesn't seem to be a single team that I'd even put up an argument that the Ravens have a better WR corps than. The sad thing is that this isn't the first time we've neared this point. In 2013, I'd say they were in the bottom quarter of the league. In 2017, I'd say they were in the bottom five.
