    He’s on the last year so they can’t restructure without extending. They could ask him to take a pay cut but I doubt he’s interested.

    He's only got the 1 year left. No need to spread out the hit... take it this year and let him go get us a 2021 comp pick in 12 months.

    There's no benefit for him to extend $$$ wise unless you guarantee more than he'll make this season. To do that you're starting to put yourself in the same dead future money situation EDC is trying to get out of.

    He missed games last year due to suspension. Humphrey missed games to injury. Carr is up there in years too despite never missing time.

    Between the 3 of them we've got 2 starting CBs covered for this season.
