Thread: Favorite Raven

    Favorite Raven

I know this is sort of a silly thread, but we have some awesome guys playing Ball in Baltimore and I want to appreciate some of them individually. So, who’s your favorite Raven currently on the roster? For me, it’s Marlon Humphrey. He’s a standout talent, smart and driven guy, and just seems so fun to be around. All our DBs are so funny on Twitter. Who do you guys like?

    Current Raven?

Justin Tucker. He's the only great player on the roster.

Ok I was joking about Thomas but like he IS on the team now and he’s a HOFer

Justin Tucker. Most fans and players won’t admit it, but the most pressurized position in football is Kicker. For Tucker to be as consistent as he is and dance while doing it I can admire that confidence and willingness to take on that pressure.

Gotta go Tucker or Yanda. Tucker is the best player we have right now. Yanda would be fun to drink beer with.

I don't think Earl Thomas is there yet. He needs those Dawkins in Denver type years to make the HOF in my opinion

Thomas has been great but he's missing some things you usually from safeties. For example Earl Thomas has never had a sack in his whole career. With Seattle Earl Thomas played a very specific role the entire time. Guys like Ed Reed had different Defensive Coordinators who did things very differently. Pete Carroll forces all his DCs to do things the same way and since Pete is a defensive it's really his way.

For the first time Earl Thomas will get to do things a little differently. Hopefully he will get to pressure and group tackle and some of those other things he never did in Seattle. I think that could really improve his HOF chances. Brian Dawkins had similar issues. He goes to Denver and he finally gets to attack running backs. The guy who averaged around 70 tackles a year now has 115. I absolutely believe that going to Denver was key to Dawkins making the HOF. The same can be true for Earl Thomas and we're going benefit
