    Re: 2020 Comp Pick compensation

Update as Ty Montgomery signed with the Jets today.

    Compensatory.jpg

Bethel now cancels out Suggs instead of Brown and Ingram cancels out Montgomery. Back to a 3rd and 4th projected.

Thank you Jets for signing Montgomery now rather than after the May deadline date.

Likely won't affect their comp picks... they had already lost and gained an equal amount of guys... now they've gained 1 more than lost... also all the guys they lost might have netted them a 6th or 7th at most.

Mosely, 1. because they took him from us and 2. You don't pay an ILB that kind of money. I wouldn't have even given Lewis that in in his prime.

Is this going to be an issue for the comp pick?

It’s a veteran minimum deal for Ty Montgomery, per sources. He also got a $90K signing bonus/roster bonus.

    Good value for the Jets.

Where's Brian McFarland or Nick Korte at?

Re-watch SBXXXV and maybe you’ll want to re-think that.

I'm a little surprised they haven't re-signed Urban as a right-player-right-price guy. Maybe they are waiting until after the draft to see if they find an 3 technique there...or if some other team who didn't fill a need in the draft takes him before 5/8, helping their formula.

I am too (slightly), but maybe the Ravens feel 2018 7th round draft choice Zach Sieler (DLine - Ferris State) is ready to step-up? ... Bc
