Update as Ty Montgomery signed with the Jets today.

Bethel now cancels out Suggs instead of Brown and Ingram cancels out Montgomery. Back to a 3rd and 4th projected.Last edited by OhThePossibilities; 04-11-2019 at 06:48 PM. Reason: added additional info

Re: 2020 Comp Pick compensation
Thank you Jets for signing Montgomery now rather than after the May deadline date.

Re: 2020 Comp Pick compensation
Is this going to be an issue for the comp pick?

It’s a veteran minimum deal for Ty Montgomery, per sources. He also got a $90K signing bonus/roster bonus.
Good value for the Jets.
Where's Brian McFarland or Nick Korte at?

Re: 2020 Comp Pick compensation
I'm a little surprised they haven't re-signed Urban as a right-player-right-price guy. Maybe they are waiting until after the draft to see if they find an 3 technique there...or if some other team who didn't fill a need in the draft takes him before 5/8, helping their formula.
