I scouted Shane Ray. Kid had all of the talent in the world.

I like the idea of Houston in Baltimore but let's remind ourselves that he hasn't played a full 16 games since 2014. Buyer beware. If we can get him for $8m a year I would be good with that.
well im alright with that. I think we offer a better situation than Pittsburgh right now. Ive read hes taking his time to figure out a good fit.

21 games over the last 4 years. Hes definitely got some red flags for availability. the contract value would have to consider that to be a good deal for both sides. probably another reason why he hasnt signed yet as well.

It's kind of obvious he hasn't gotten an offer for whatever value he thinks he is worth. I mean, the guy made almost $70 million over the last 4 seasons. Think he's getting anywhere close to $15 mil a year in FA? I sure don't. I have a feeling the offers he is getting are half that amount and hence he isn't rushing to sign anywhere.

Well we know 30 year old pass rushers arent getting mega deals. Id think his market is around 8-10m/year. Cameron wake at 37 just signed for 7.6m/year. Id say thats his floor.

Hes a good enough player and has enough tread left, that im still a little surprised somebody hasnt stepped up to get it done. I thought hed be in higher demand than he is. Either that or hes in complete denial like you say, and holding out for something thats not coming. Thats not unheard of (dez).

Hope all the Ravens other options (in terms of FA)aren't all gone by the time he comes to a decision.

I'd rather have Suggs 2. A great Pass Rusher that falls to us in the draft and has a hall of fame career here for the next decade and a half.

Well, Colts have a need so not surprised Houston would end up there. But if it's really for $12M/yr then I'm good with us passing on him.
