Re: AOC: Wow what a debut
Oh boy...
You infer that it’s a negative reflection on me because I view FN as a credible news source. I personally don’t watch FN minus Tucker Carlson...so your insult doesn’t hold water. I don’t know if they’re NOT credible. I haven’t personally seen or read about them lying on TC’s show.
To prove your point...you post a “Politifact” and “the Root” article as proof? Come on dude. Really? Can you articulate an actual reason yourself rather than posting a link and trying to insult me? You're basically saying..."FN isn't credible because Politifact and the Root sayso." Please.
It's fair to assume you don’t know much about Politifact. Do you read MediaMatters too? Politifact’s primary role within media is to be propagandists for the Democrat Party. They are an extension of the DNC. So is Snopes. So is Mediaite. All of this is pretty well known in media/political circles and has been proven countless times yet people still use them as a source because they don't know any better. All of these sites have consistently had to retract claims they’ve made and they spend most of their time attacking conservative voices. During Trump's State of the Union last month, Politico jumped on him for saying that "one in three women is sexually assaulted on the long journey north.” Politico was targeting the president because the actual figure was 31%. Politico is trivial reporting at it's worst. Politico actually defended AOC's NGD proposal. When the Guardian lied about Manafort meeting with Assange last year, Politico ran air-cover for the lying journalists. During the Kavanaugh fiasco, Politico was lying about BK's response's during the hearing.
Here’s a few more examples of their greatest hits:
1. You can keep your insurance under ObamaCare
2. Illegal Aliens are not criminals.
3. Hillary didn't lie. But the mother who lost her son at Benghazi probably did.
4. Jokes about Iran are lies.
5. Obama did not go on an international apology tour.
6. Reporting accurate numbers about the Clinton Foundation's lack of charitable giving is lying.
7. Hillary never sent or received classified information through her home-brewed server.
There is more, but who cares?
With that being said, I looked through a few of the claims in your link...and...after doing some digging...I can already see they’ve taken a few comments out of context simply to smear the network. Sounds about right.
With that being said, I find it funny that you’re using a media outlet who knowingly lies as your proof that another media outlet lies. You see what’s happening there right? Who’s trying to control information online? What political ideology is trying to censor people? It’s pretty obvious to most. Don’t fall for the bullshit. It sounds like you are.
If you don’t think FN is a credible news source, but you don’t watch/read them...how can you make that claim? If you do watch/read them...what did you personally see that wasn’t forthright? It’ll make for a better argument when context is given rather than reading about someone else’s opinions on something that was said years ago.
Think for yourself and don’t rely on disinformation centers like Politifact to influence your opinion.Last edited by ravenmaniac4life; 03-13-2019 at 08:49 AM.

Re: AOC: Wow what a debut
I hear ya, but echo chambers don't interest me.
When CNN or MSNBC or NPR says something ridiculously false, I’ll call them out for it after watching them lie or purposefully mislead their viewers. I don’t need to go to a supposed “fact-checking” site to confirm that they’re lying.
Furthermore, the whole FN detour was brought up because CC posted that they were the only MSM voice reporting on AOC’s FEC violations...which is true. So, instead of acknowledging that FN is the only MSM outlet even talking about this...Terpsfan dismisses them as a credible media source...even though the story posted was 100% accurate.
I think shit like this is funny. It’s very much along the lines of the...”I don’t want to uncover the truth...I want to win the argument” mantra.Last edited by ravenmaniac4life; 03-12-2019 at 09:35 AM.

Re: AOC: Wow what a debut
Apparently people like Sean Hannity give his opinions every night on an hour long opinion show while admitting that his program promotes his opinions. People like Don Lemon, Anderson Cooper, and Richard Maddow do the same while claiming to be news journalists.
See the difference?
Is there a story that you want to discuss as an example of FN not being honest or are you just gonna post links, not defend your POV, and call people “idiots” while ironically showing absolutely zero knowledge on anything political while incessantly posting down here but not debating anyone on anything at all because you can’t/don’t know how?
Thoughts?Last edited by ravenmaniac4life; 03-12-2019 at 08:35 PM.
