    Re: Empire Actor Attack Staged

Don't ya just love it when asshole politicians get caught being an asshole. I do.

    • HeelsUp Harris, the day of the Smollett attack: "Modern-day lynching."
    • HeelsUp Harris, the day the hoax collapses: "The facts are still unfolding."

    Lol. She's such a loser.

    PS
Apparently, you're not allowed to mention the Jussie Smollett hoax on Facebook.

Those big-tech companies in CA definitely aren't trying to censor conservatives at all. Those alt-right crazies just need to cool it with the conspiracy theories.

Tariq Nasheed brought up an interesting point.

    https://www.advocate.com/politics/20...lett-interview

    From Nasheed's twitter account:

    1) Jussie has campaigned with Kamala Harris

    2. Kamala Harris was one of the people who authored the new Anti Lynching legislation.

    3. That anti Lynching Bill Kamala introduced snuck in some LGBT language at the last minute. The white LGBT community has always tried to attached themselves to the plight of Black Americans to give the false impression that they have had a comparative historic struggle.

    4. Even white people called out the deceptive tactic of attaching LGBT language onto a bill the addressed the historic attacks on Black citizens. People saw they were trying to use Black suffering to push unrelated agendas that would benefit white society.

    5. After the Jussie “attack”, all these liberal, Kamala Harris supporting media outlets kept going out of their way to use the term “homophobic AND racist attack”. The fact they so many of them were using the same exact term, suggests that this was commissioned from the top level.

    6. They used this Jussie hoax to pass this anti Lynching bill, and this is the first time in history the white LGBT community has an official document GIVING THEM FEDERAL PROTECTIONS AS AN OPPRESSED GROUP like Black Americans. This Lynching Bill was a victory for the LGBT crowd.

    7. Because of Kamala’s Lynching Bill, the white LGBT community can use this as a precedent to get even more federal rights & protections for themselves, off the suffering of Black ppl. And it doesn’t matter that the Jussie “attack” was a hoax, because the bill has passed already.

IMO, this makes a lot of sense.

This all might've been for pushing a bill for HeelsUp Harris.

This whole thing is f**@ed up, but these two I find the most troubling.

the belief that a unanimous bill wasnt going to pass or was somehow tipped in favor due to this "event" is not based in reality of any kind.

the bill was going to pass because people on both sides of the aisle agree lynching is bad, no matter who is being lynched.

The bill recounts the brutal history of racist lynchings in the U.S. and makes injuring or killing someone because of race, color, religion or national origin by two or more people a federal crime punishable by up to life in prison.

It also criminalizes attacks based on gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or disability if they involve crossing state lines or are facilitated by the internet, phone or mail.
whatever the hell is going on with this incident, are we really arguing that lynching shoudnt be outlawed?

Is there a new meaning to the term lynching? I’m asking to gain some knowledge, not to argue.

A “modern day lynching”...as stated by HeelsUp Harris...gives waaaaay more notoriety to the bill and to its co-sponsors...2 of which are running for President.

The timing of it all is interesting...especially when you consider that Smollett is campaigning for Harris alongside her.

    PS
Where are you seeing anyone in favor of “lynching?”

lynching: premeditated extrajudicial killing by a group

So, was premeditated extrajudicial killing by a group NOT outlawed?

    It's murder.

The last I checked...murder was one of those things that "Johnny Law" was against.

I think Nasheed's point was that is was used as a back door to gain oppressed status at the federal level. Which may not have been added without the incident and notoriety.

No one has even come close to saying lynching should not be outlawed.

i believe its described as violence that results in injury or death, based on the quote above.

her use of "modern day" doesnt have much relevance to the law itself. if it defines as violence that causes injury or death, based on those qualifiers, if falls under this law. This caused injury, and based on what was known at the time she said that, would qualify.

anybody suggesting this law wasnt going to pass prior to this event, is making the argument it doesnt have merit on its own. its a law about anti-lynching. so logically...
