Browns Most Important Free Agent
The Athletic has an Around the AFCN bit where the writers for each team weigh in on various questions. The question was, “The most important pending free agent on the team you cover is...”
Zac Jackson, who covers the Browns, said this:
Jackson: Some Ravens fans will laugh and others might cry, but it’s wide receiver Breshad Perriman. The Browns’ new coaching staff is high on Perriman and believes he’s only scratched the surface after a strong finish to 2018. Perriman wasn’t a full-time player for last year’s Browns after signing in October, but he’s a tall and athletic playmaker in a thin wide receiver market. More than that, he has a rapport with Baker Mayfield and believes he can start putting up real numbers after he spends an offseason working with Mayfield. The Browns finally have their quarterback. Now, they figure to move to keep Perriman off the market and allow the Perriman-Mayfield chemistry to continue to develop.

Re: Browns Most Important Free Agent
This dude comes out this year and balls at any respectable level it will speak volumes about our coaching staffs ability (or lack there of) to develop and coach receivers. I think we all know already that this staff and team in general can't draft and/or develop receivers but this dude becoming a legit receiver on the Browns would certainly give solid confirmation of what we all pretty much know already.
Will Die A Ravens Fan!!

No Ravens fan likes the notion that all Perriman needed was to be in a real offense with a real QB, but Perriman's career isn't quite as dead as many assumed. He'll never live up to his draft status, but maybe the Ravens were just stupid in drafting him where they did.

Re: Browns Most Important Free Agent
I think we should re-sign him. And Cordarelle Patterson.

Re: Browns Most Important Free Agent
Next year we may see 'the real Periman' whatever that is.
Here he was injured all the first year. Seemed somewhat respectable in year 2 and the circled the drain thereafter.
