I agree but when opportunities come up you have to pounce. Amari Cooper was that type of opportunity as was Brandin Cooks so was Jarvis Landry even though I didn't like that fit. Alshon Jeffery, Allen Robinson and Sammy Watkins all hit the market. The cost of #1 receivers is so high that they are surprising available for those who are willing to pay.

Right now I don't see anyone out there for 2019 but if that does change I'd pounce.

You're better off drafting but with the understanding you might not get #1 production till 2020.

Wouldn't be the least bit interested unless Bell was willing to sign for around $10-12M per season. Any more than that pretty much wrecks the cap for years to come.

Running backs like Bell who take lots of hits usually don't have that long of a career.

We can still run the ball just as well as they did though. If our OL can be half as good as their line was we're fine with mostly utilizing our backs and tight ends given we sign bell.

Incidentally, the three HOFers on KC's line (if you include the TE) are Willie Roaf, Will Shields and Tony Gonzalez.

Plus Brian Waters, a 2x All Pro
