Great post Carroll.

You can continually throw these examples in a communists face and they’re convinced that socialism/communism simply hasn’t been implemented properly. I’ve listened to these arguments. They want to be right moreso than finding the truth.

The argument for socialism over capitalism or a constitutional republic is incredibly illogical. The primary reason for it being an illogical stance is that they're assuming there is a "perfect" solution...there isn't. So, the idea that socialism has "never been implemented properly" is a false argument. There's no such thing. Just like there is no perfect implementation of capitalism. You just have to make the best of imperfect solutions.

However, Capitalism allows you to own your successes and failures. Socialism gives the government control over successes, but we still own the failures (ultimately).

Exactly. I'm not real sure where this quote comes from, but it makes sense. "Capitalism isn't perfect, but it's the best we've got".

Politics aside, I haven’t seen or heard too many things directly from her that suggest she’s intelligent...
