Free agent WR Chris Thompson, most recently of the AAF Orlando Apollos, is visiting the #Ravens now. He also has played for the #Texans.
Sheesh...

Re: Ravens hosting AAF Receiver Chris Thompson...
Well this is something we haven't tried and failed at before, signing receivers from a defunct football league...
First time for everything though.
The receiver situation is depressing

Camp body, this is Devier Posey. Ex Texan out of the NFL into some BS football league... to the Ravens pit of despair known as the WR room...

He had 8 catches in 8 games in the AAF. So he's like not even really one of these AAF guys that looked like he could possibly play on an NFL roster.
Really wish they would have pushed harder for someone like Charles Johnson or one of these other AAF guys that actually did something in that league.back on twitter
"Well that was an appropriate last ride for Pees. A Bengals WR streaking in for a game winning touchdown in the closing minutes is the man’s preferred medium to express his art." - GreenWave52

We sign camp bodies every year. Why are we freaking out? First Jean-Baptiste and now Thompson. We will sign a ton of dudes at just about every position of this caliber every off season. This isn't the future of the Ravens receiving corps. This is a camp body for RG3 to throw to.
"That's not Donovan McNabb."

Re: Ravens hosting AAF Receiver Chris Thompson...
I once had a Safety from the Ravens superbowl team apply for a $10 hr order puller job back in 2013-2014. I think it was Christian Thompson, dont recall him ever playing but he listed it on his Resume. It was less than a year after they won the superbowl. Never hired him as I Felt it would just have been a waste of my time as he wouldn't stick around.
