How do you know someone's from New York? Don't worry they'll tell you and in the most annoying way possible.

    "Yea? Well I'm from Brooklyn."

"Yea well you could be someone in this city."

"I'm a nothin' in this city."

"It's up in Queens? I can't make it."

"That pizza joint is cash only."

Gerald McCoy: Reissuing No. 93 shows how Bucs feel about me :

    https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.co...feel-about-me/

While Mccoy was a very good player, here are his stats in TB :

    https://www.espn.com/nfl/player/stat...0/gerald-mccoy

I think he has an over-inflated estimate of himself :

“When all these guys left, they nobody wore their number,” McCoy said. “It was a sign of respect. I’m one of the best players to ever play in the organization. I’m gonna say it, usually I wouldn’t but so what. It kinda shows the respect and how they feel about me. I think it does. . . . It may seem like it’s just a number, but it’s bigger than that. It’s respect and that was a big part of the separation between me and Tampa. The respect they showed to me all offseason, it just wasn’t there.”

    Boo-Hoo... Bc

they did move on from McCoy very quickly but it was because of his contract and being a no show. He was a cornerstone for them for several years but I wouldn't put him in the same category as Warren Sapp, Ronde Barber or John Lynch - those guys should be ROH.

If he was one of the best players to ever play for the organization, they wouldn’t have dropped his ass like a bad habit.

He doesn’t even have the stats to back that assertion up. Straight clown comment.

Cool-x, I am from New York City. Do you think I'd ever say any of those things?

I have Derrick Brooks on my 2nd team All Time NFL team, at RLB/WLB behind Lawrence Taylor. It's a little funky dealing with LBs because as you can see, even though both Brooks and Taylor are both designated "right-side LBs", Brooks was a cover-2 Will while LT was a 3-4 Rush.

No other Bucs make 1st or 2nd team though, not even Lee Roy Selmon.

BC you may have explained this before, but how did you wind up a Ravens fan up in NYC?
