I know I'm late but I sort have a different viewpoint. What annoyed me even beyond the racism was Northam response and it sort of encapsulates the democrat movement entirely he said he was going to use the event as a teachable moment and become an advocate for the black community.
Which of course while he didn't say it we all know what that means $$$. I just found it gross that he would the tax dollars of his state to buy absolution instead of going out and seeking it for himself. It just really struck home at what passes off in the democrat party as laudable and worthy of reverence these days.
