What is fucked up, what I absolutely cannot wrap my mind around, is that they've now been in Indy for longer than they were in Baltimore. 30 years in Baltimore (31?), and 34(?) years in Indy.

Rwt, you make a good point (as usual). However, there were differences. Irsay "stole" the Colts in the dead of night. Meanwhile, Mr. Modell wanted a new stadium, but IIRC Cleveland built one for the Indians, the Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame, and another museum that I cannot recall. That sent a message to Modell that the Browns were 2nd class citizens in the city. When Baltimore gave him a pretty lucrative option, whet choice did he have?

Ravens left the Cleveland Browns name, colors, history, etc in Cleveland and when they got another team, they had their Cleveland Browns again. Indy stole the Colts history and name. That’s the bigger problem in my mind. When Baltimore got a team again, it should have been the Colts again.
