Yup. No reason to have a Flacco package. In fact I can't imagine Joe would want that. He wants to play and not be a sideshow.

Why announce Harbaugh is coming back now without the details of the extension to go along with it.

Because there is no extension at this point. Harbaugh was already under contract for 2019

I get that, but nobody works on a lame duck one year deal. Deep playoff run=Harbaugh stays. No playoffs= Don't just fire him when suitors will be willing to pay.

Trading a coach is impossible unless the coach works out the deal. The coach has all the leverage. That's why it doesn't happen any more.

The Ravens have the leverage because they control him for a year. If Cleveland is interested do you just fire Harbaugh and watch him go there, or do you hold onto him because they're scared of that scenario playing out, and maybe they can work out the parameters of a trade to get him out of the division, and hopefully out of the conference. I believe they still see Harbaugh as an excellent coach but they want post season results, if they don't get those results they don't want to see him twice a year on the other sideline. If he has a nice playoff run, keep him.
