    Jacksons durability

This is now the 2nd game in a row where the back up had to play meaningful snaps.. Not a good look for a rookie QB. Is this cause for concern? Id have to look at flaccos record for missing snaps pre acl injury...

A serious concern from those of us not high on the Jackson pick.

No, because Flacco sucks (Flacco hater speak)

The one against Atlanta didn't count because he didn't actually have a concussion but the NFL is very cautious regarding CTE these days. That could have happened to any player in fact it happened to Yanda too.

Snap counts only go back to 2012. Joe left some blowouts in 2012, played every snap in 2013, left the TB blowout in 2014 and all snaps pre-injury in 2015. In 2016, he missed 2-3 snaps at home against Pit when his brace broke. Looks like he might have been pulled early in the win against Cleveland, and he was definitely pulled early in the blowout against Miami. He was pulled for the final series of the season-ending loss to Cincinnati.
In 2017, he was pulled in the London Debacle due to ineffectiveness. He was concussed by Alonso against the Dolphins.
In 2018, he was pulled in the blowout win against Buffalo and the blowout loss against Carolina.

So, in sum, since 2012 he's missed a handful of snaps due to injury (2017 Dolphins) in games that he's been active.

Roethlisberger has been banged up with all kinds of stuff for nearly 15 years. Its only worrisome if he starts getting big season ending injuries... injuries that make him come out a few plays are whatever.

Uh yea you can discount it because he wasnt actually hurt. The fact that he took a hit to the chin and was fine is a credit towards his durability not whatever you're looking for

    Stop owning him so bad.

If Lamar misses the next game account injury then it is worrisome!

    Re: Jacksons durability

Jackson is going to have to get some time in the weight room this offseason. Honestly though this is normal for a young QB. Look at Josh Allen and Sam Darnold who have both missed games this year. A lot of rookie just don’t know how to protect themselves. They’ll learn.

I been a critic but he does have passion and did improve some; I give him that;he needs to play more like KC's QB, scramble around with your athletic ability , run if necessary , but you have to be a super quality passer in the watered down NFL of 2019 and beyond.
