    Then none of them would ever get long term contracts. So yea, guaranteed 1 year deals could be a thing, but if I'm a GM in that scenario I'm using a committee of cheap rookie contracts..... which is that half the league is already doing

    I think if we address the RB position in free agency, we can let Mosley walk and draft a new linebacker that can actually cover in the first round followed by a guard in the 2nd and other OL picks to truly solidify this line.

    It doesn't even need to be a first round pick. Kenny young proves that. We're good at drafting and developing linebackers as UDFA or later in the draft.

    No way we are going QB or WR in the first round especially not QB in the first round for 2 straight years. Give LJ his rookie contract at least.

    I wasn't saying we have those needs, I was saying first round picks in general should be spent on those positions. Not ILB which we can clearly fill with a lower pick
