John Harbaugh is the Greatest Football Coach in Colts/Ravens History

Five straight playoff appearances. 3 AFCCG. 1 SB win. Honestly, when you look at his record, he's the best.

    Agree? Disagree?

I would say that Don Shula was a fair to middlin coach.

If you're combining the two Baltimore franchises I'd say Weeb was the greatest in city history. He won two championships ('58 and '59) with the Colts. Shula won an NFL Championship with the Colts, but, of course, lost the Super Bowl to Weeb.

Harbaugh has had a better run than Billick did, so he's the best in the Ravens young history. It's not like Marchibroda can argue the point...

Don Shula had a .755 win% with the Colts over seven seasons. 71-23-4. Wow.

I was gonna go with Weeb Ewbank but... damn Supberbowl III

While that's true, most of that success was in Miami. Not to say he wasn't extremely successful with the Colts, but Billick and Harbaugh have SB rings and Shula doesn't from his tenure in Baltimore (although, technically they were the NFL Champions in 1968 going into SBIII).

I guess it depends on the context, are we talking the best in terms of how good of a coach they are/were (subjective to say the least), or their championships, etc? I think it's time for a new HC, but Harbs is a damn good coach, and his record is nothing to sneeze at.

The Colts were gone before I was born so I can't comment on that, but as far as the Ravens go, I'm not sure how you could make a convincing argument for Billick or Marchibroda over him.

I hate Frank Kush. The Colts should have fired him so that John Elway would have come here. If Elway plays for the Colts, they probably win enough games that attendance doesn't drop, which would have deprived Irsay the excuse he used to move the team. Maybe Baltimore/Maryland even considers a new stadium with Elway as the QB for 10-15 years.
