Jackson might be the guy to take down L.A. and KC

Pretty good article on Lamar Jackson and the Ravens brand of football. If Lamar can win Sunday he'll have everyone's attention.

Lamar Jackson might be just the kind of guy to take down teams like the Los Angeles Rams and Kansas City Chiefs

Ravens remind me of UVA basketball team. Control the tempo of the game and run an efficient offensive scheme. Games will be low scoring but they come out with a win. That's all the Ravens have to do. Stick to the scheme.

We can keep Rivers and Mahomes on the sidelines with our ground game. But we can't let either get a lead; we 'd need to score too fast.

I'm so hoping for a Flacco start just to see the meltdown...

I preface my words with - I am not a Flacco disliker (if such a word exists). That said, this game vs the Chiefs will be a rough road to hoe for our rookie QB. However, I do believe he gives us a better chance than Joe would have. Even with LJ's observed running ability, he still has an unpredictable nature that fools a lot of defenders. I predicted a 26 - 23 Ravens win in the Prediction Thread, but really have no idea how the game will turn out. The thing is I now have a more positive outlook than I had 4 weeks ago... Bc

Pigs can fly. I hope so....it's been an improbable turn of events so far...

I do believe it's been announced Lamar is starting this week and Joe was limited in practice.

This season has been Bizzaro World, for sure. The PAT in the Saints' game defined this year as Twilight Zone-like.

I think the reporters are using the term it's "expected" Lamar will start but the team hasn't announced nothing.

In every game that KC has won, they've lost the TOP. So, I seriously doubt that it will work this week. If Flacco is healthy, he needs to start.
