Need career advice

Things aren't going so well for me at work. I've had to deal with a family illness this year and it has affected my performance at work. Even if things were well with me personally I don't think my working relationship would be good with current management.

I'm 40 years old and Baltimore or DC works. I'm proficient in SQL, Finace and Essbase.
