called it. Andrews was my fav TE. he is not a SPARQ stud but he is smooth and clutch. he helped mayfield a lot at OU.

Baldy, I second that. IIRC Andrews had 22 TDs (7, 7, 8) in his last three years @ OK. The Ravens should develop him into an end-zone threat... Bc

I've been saying the same thing since March. Here's one example:

Crabtree is just like our usual formula of signing over-30, used-to-be productive "proven" receivers. Ryan Grant would have been a departure, signing a guy in his prime. Oh well.

Maybe DaCosta will understand numbers better than Ozzie has.
I'm not sure "move goals posts" means what you think it means.

Now who's moving goalposts? I was talking about on-the-field productivity.

That's what Ozzie was doing. The 25yo was a better investment; and that was obvious. Yet this board cheered when we voided that contract and instead signed the 30yo.

I still think, barring injury, that Grant will be more productive over the life of his contract than Crabtree will over the life of his.

I could see you being right, just the contract we tried to give him made zero sense. it will be interesting to compared that later down the road. And of course you compare the 25 year old to the 30 year old, age is always a factor, as is talent, cost, etc.

Ugh, the tipped pass Sunday was Maxx's first target that fell incomplete.
