There is no comparison between Flacco and Brees, but this is probably one of the last conclusions I would draw from yesterday if I were watching it in a vacuum with no knowledge of either guy's history.

Thats what they are coached to do in those situations. The minute they start running they are fair game to be hit

I'm not a Flacco guy but I can't blame this on him. He put up almost 300 yards and 2 TDs. I was happy when we drafted Lamar but I don't think he is ready. As a matter of fact I would keep Joe until his contract runs out. I know Joe ball out contract time but I would sign him to a team friendly contract if Lamar not up to speed. Less on guarantees this time. Trust me nobody is going to fight over his services. I think he'll be 35

He ran two different two minute drills perfectly yesterday. Two TD. Not his fault the extra point was missed. He took no had sacks. Three zero int. He did his job well and was smart enough to throw it away if the pass was not there.

I’m tired of all the Flacco bitching. Yesterday’s loss was not on him. Our defense slowed down DB but could not stop him. Could not get off the field. Same problem we have with the Pats and use to have with Manning. We let them run fakes on special teams for first downs. They had two full weeks to game plan this game. So they had the perfect game plan in place. We were down our best cb, left guard and right tackle.

It's partially on him of course for the offense completely falling apart in the 3rd and 4th quarter which is a hallmark of Flacco. We almost never put the good teams away. We'll get a lead and then coast let them take the lead then have to scramble to win.

If we had a good offense with a good qb we score another TD early and that bullshit at the end never happens. With that being said this is really the first loss this year where you can't blame Flacco as the main culprit. It's the defense. Special teams. Coaching, And Flacco. it was a total team effort for this one.
