    Ravens pass catchers thru 6

Here's some stats on the Ravens pass-catchers thru 6 games:

Player Rec Yds TD FD Targs YPT
    Maxx Williams 14 127 0 6 14 9.07
    John Brown 21 424 3 15 47 9.02
    Mark Andrews 13 155 1 11 20 7.75
    Willie Snead 30 313 1 20 43 7.28
    Chris Moore 8 65 0 2 10 6.50
    Michael Crabtree 30 343 2 18 55 6.24
    Nick Boyle 12 121 0 5 22 5.50
    Alex Collins 9 77 1 3 14 5.50
    Javorius Allen 24 149 1 9 30 4.97
    Hayden Hurst 1 7 0 0 3 2.33
    De'Lance Turner 2 17 0 0 2 8.50
    Tim White 1 14 0 1 1 14.00
    Lamar Jackson 0 0 0 0 1 0.00
(A few guys have only a couple targets thus far. I moved them down to the bottom of the table so as not to skew any "rankings".)

A couple notes on this data:

    • Crabby's yards-per-target went up less than I expected it would have, after his excellent game. It did go up, though.
    • Hayden Hurst went in the opposite direction! I think Harbs said they had Thor on a snap count. His time will come.
    • No targets for Buck Allen this past week?

You guys see anything else worth mentioning?

The good evaluation or comparison would be the first six games last year . With Joe not being able to practice until late in the preseason games, and then deal with the back issue, I believe you will see drastic improvement. With this said, I expect a ton of growth and continued strength coming from the group of TE's including the Rookies. Snead is my favorite new target. He's money, and doesn't bring the Diva baggage.

If my math is correct, then our three FA WRs have accumulated : 81 catches/145 targets (56%)
for 1,080 yards (13.3 ypc) and 6 TDs. Nothing spectacular, but something we Ravens fans can hang our hats on going forward. I believe Flacco's chemistry with them will increase as the games (and practices) go by, and am becoming more confident in their ability be productive... Bc

Fans want a top wr but that’s a mistake too often. AJGreen gets shut down in playoffs. You can’t shut down three equal wr. Joe just can go down his progression of reads. He did that Sunday and found Crabtree as his physical bird read for 30 yards. Last year that would have been a check down and a punt. Now he can go through up to five reads. What a difference a year makes.

By the way his top three wr last year have caught zero passes this year.

What sticks out is the nice balance between TEs. Look forward to seeing all 4 of our TEs actively on a weekly basis. Will allow us to give multiple looks out of multiple formations.

That matches what I found too. He also only had 1 carry. Took 28 snaps, but something's up. He had those 3 plays on the opening drive, the catch near the end of the half, and he was getting a carry in the 4th (6:47) before he false started, but he did not touch the ball very much at all, and he disappeared for long stretches of the game.
