As you can see, the majority of the Ravens remaining schedule is against some of the leagues worst ranked defenses (through 6 weeks). On the flip side, 6 of the the remaining 10 teams rank top 10 in both offensive scoring per game AND yards per game. I believe our Defense is good enough to keep most of these offenses in check but they'll be under a lot of pressure. I just hope our Offense is capable of holding up in the critical moments and can win us the close ones. So far, they've proven they can..well, with the exception of the shitty Stankland Browns, but they don't count. Rumor has it Huge Action was performing blood magic before the game so...

As long as Joe Flacco k̶e̶e̶p̶s̶ ̶t̶a̶k̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶h̶i̶s̶ ̶c̶o̶n̶t̶r̶a̶c̶t̶ ̶y̶e̶a̶r̶ ̶a̶d̶d̶e̶r̶a̶l̶l̶ stays focus and is able to keep his inner Joe Boller suppressed, we should definitely win the majority of these games. I foresee us finishing with an 11-5/12-4 record. IF, we keep playing this well, I think a playoff bye is definitely obtainable for us this year. It's kinda funny though, you would think we were bottom feeders with the way this board loves to find anything/everything negative to pick apart and whine about.

Anyway, also worth noting, the Ravens are the ONLY team in the NFL right now ranked top 10 in all 4 categories.

I go by points per game and these defenses are below average to brutal. So while their offense do score a lot of points they give up even more. If our defense holds up we can limit their points scored enough that we should be in every game. Of the last ten games I see us going 6-4 or better. Stay healthy and 11-12 wins are there. The Bengals are running out of players due to injuries and lack of depth. The Steelers have no defense. If our offense can play ball control offense like they did yesterday they will have in a lot of games.

Thanks for the shoutout, the table looks great!

I agree with your points as well. The team has the potential to win most if not all of these games (those defenses look ripe for the picking), and with the Chiefs falling last night, the AFC is wide open. A bye isn't the only thing up for grabs; the long-sought #1 overall seed could be there for the taking. It all starts with a win on Sunday though.

We had trouble scoring points against the Bengals with their 29th ranked points against defense and the Browns with their 28th ranked points against defense. Just because a team is ranked good or bad globally doesn't mean they will be easy or hard when a team plays up. Match ups have a lot to do with it.

The common factor in both of those games was Flacco playing like shit. He's thrown 3 of his 4 interceptions in those 2 games. Against the Bengals Joe put up a 76.0 passer rating. Against the Browns he put up 60.0 passer rating. Now consider the Benagls defense is averaging an opposing QB rating of 93.7 and the Browns 76.8. We goes as Joe goes. If Joe Brady shows up we're a top 3 team contending for a Super Bowl. When Joe Boller shows up, well...we lose to the Browns.

So we still play teams ranked 26, 28, 29, 30, 31 and 32 in points allowed.

    Wow.
It gets even better..of the 10 teams remaining on our schedule here is where their passing defense currently rank:

    16th, 18th, 19th, 21st, 27th, 28th, 29th, 30th, 31st, 32nd

Yeah that's right, we still have the 6 WORST passing defenses remaining on our schedule

Joe Flacco gets Zero excuses for the rest of the year.

    Found this on r/ravens

Over the remaining 10 weeks the Ravens face the leagues easiest SoS for opposing defenses and the leagues hardest SoS for opposing offenses. They also face the easiest pass def SoS by a wiiiiide margin.

This might be where the data are from:

Table: 2018 NFL Opposition & Defensive Statistics | Pro-Football-Reference.com: Drive Averages Against

Comments: The Ravens defense has allowed 1.04 points per drive, the Browns are second with 1.56. The difference between 1st and 2nd is the same as the difference between 2nd and 21st.

Yeah, of our remaining 10 games, 5 defenses are ranked 28 or worse on this chart. Of course, a lot of this may be because they've played teams with good offenses. #YMMV
