Huh? Did Wilfork's number dip because Seymour left, or because that same season he suffered a big injury and didn't play more than 4 games? Hard to maintain a 16 game performance with 4 games of opportunity.
After that, he came back, off a big injury, as a 33 year old NT with 160 games (including playoffs) of wear and tear on his body. How many 10 year veteran lineman are still dominant after 33? You brought up Seymour, he retired after 33

Ya I hear a lot of people saying that in regards to Derwin James vs Hurst-Jackson but that’s wrong. It’d be against Hurst and whoever we selected with the third we acquired (which I believe we traded down from?). I personally still wish we’d taken James but sure as rooting for Hurst to turn into a hell of a player.
