Browns went through 25 years of suck to be where they are right now.

I'm not sure why you would expect us to be able to change anything quickly unless we acquire a playmaker like Mayfield. Lamar Jackson can't do what he did last night.

Who said anything about changing anything after one win by the browns??

Anyways...Browns didn’t look like the browns with that QB last night the only thing is that Hue is a bad coach they won’t be the bottom feeders for long. Ravens better not get complacent and stick to the same subscription of things we’ve seen over the last 5 seasons.

Baker looks like a stud. I know it’s early but he has the look.

Landry is a beast, baker looks good, Hyde looks explosive their defense is leading the league in takeaways browns are trending up so far.

We are the sum of our players and we don't have a Mayfield on the bench. We aren't going to be going 0-19 anytime soon either so the prospects of the type of draft windfall that yields a player of that caliber are small. When did we draft our last HOF quality player? Suggs in 2004. The Ravens do need to get it together but the odds of more of the same for a few more years is high. Again, I like Lamar but the throwing clinic Mayfield put on was incredible. Tight spirals in small windows. Evading the rush.... Dude looked like the next Aaron Rodgers.

The play where he evaded the rush and threw the ball while running to the sideline with his feet not set just reminded me a bit of Rodgers and all the throws he can make while being flushed from the pocket. I'm not disagreeing with you on the Brees comparison.

I love Baker, but lets relax.

Preparing for Baker and preparing for Tyrod are two different things. Lets see what he can do when a defense is prepared for him.

His juke in the pocket to hit an open man was beautiful though.

Last night was probably the most entertaining Thursday gmae I've seen in the last two years.

He's 1-0 lets not go overboard with the "he's a winner".

As far as the rest goes time will tell. I was not a fan of Mayfield mainly because of how he ran his college offense but he looked pretty good in the pocket. However, it was only one half of one game

He just has swagger about him that I like. It's not Manziel cockiness and I hated that comparison in the draft process. It's just confidence that he backs up. Love it. I hate that he plays for the Browns.
