Re: Coachwatch
That's where Hue's true expertise lies: organization in-fighting.
I mean, he's a decently creative play-caller. But he's a backstabber.
Honestly, I think they're set up for the next coach to have some success. Their GM is eccentric; but he's a professional. I'm afraid that Baker Mayfield is going to be great. They're going to become a problem, in a year or two.

sitting here watching the Skins lose to an average Colts team. at home. lots of empty seats.
tick tick tick Jay Gruden"Nothing stops these Baltimore Ravens. Beat them, injure them, shove them to the bottom of the standings, drag them into a hostile environment and mount a big lead, and they just keep trudging forward like nothing fazes them." (Bleacher Report)

Re: Coachwatch
local media already grumbling about Bowles. that's what losing to the Browns will do.
https://www.northjersey.com/story/sp...at/1382943002/
"The Jets have enough talent to put it all together.
But they can’t do it if they’re going to play horrifically undisciplined games like Thursday night. This is Year 4 of the Bowles regime. The Jets are supposed to be past this. If veterans feel comfortable enough to commit mindless, selfish penalties with a big lead, it's easy to see why the discipline isn't there when it truly matters. And you have to start wondering if what Bowles is teaching is working.
If progress doesn't come now, when will it? Why should ownership believe things will be different in next year?""Nothing stops these Baltimore Ravens. Re: Coachwatch
Short week on the road with a rookie QB. Shouldn’t be a shocker that they lost.

Re: Coachwatch
SNY's Ralph Vacchiano reports the "feeling around the Jets" is Todd Bowles' job isn't safe.
Bowles signed a two-year extension this offseason, but that was done to avoid lame-duck status. There's chatter the Jets want to move on from Bowles after CEO Christopher Johnson didn't fully endorse him at a season-opening press conference. The Jets are coming off an ugly loss to the Browns on Thursday night and have been one of the most penalized teams in the league. It's only three games into the season, but Bowles is going to be on the hot seat if he doesn't get things turned around.

Koetter (Bucs), Patricia (Lions), McDermott (Bills), Quinn (Falcons) and...Tomlin!
I would add Bowles (Jets) to that list.
I think his mention of Tomlin is just a pot stirrer."Nothing stops these Baltimore Ravens. Beat them, injure them, shove them to the bottom of the standings, drag them into a hostile environment and mount a big lead, and they just keep trudging forward like nothing fazes them." (Bleacher Report)

Re: Coachwatch
These guys have to given a reasonable amount of time. At least 2 years
Some of them inherited a QB situation that ownership has a say in or that they’re stuck with for a year.
