I think the Giants are still a very bad team. Maybe they are playing the long game....play Eli till he falls off...get a great HB this draft, get your QB next year?

I figured Webb was the sole reason they didnt draft a QB.

The guys who drafted and coached Webb are all fired. They drafted their own guy in Kyle Lauletta this year. The Giants fortunes this year aren't going to rise or fall based on the backup QB anyway. If Eli goes down neither of these guy are most likely going to save them,

Tampa is quietly building out a nice DL...they claimed DE Carl Nassib from the Browns.

"What kinda name is Carl?"

Interesting that the Browns would let this guy go then sign Carl Davis. Although Nassib missed all of 2017 (I'm guessing injury?), his prior two years were pretty good :

Patriots waived WR Amara Darboh.


It is a bit of a surprise considering Darboh was just added off waivers on Sunday and the move leaves the Patriots with just four receivers on the active roster. It is possible New England hopes to slip Darboh onto the practice squad.
