I think it's gonna be a rough year with those running backs :/

I really like some of those picks Wicked. Goff, Cohen, and Cooks were all on my list.

My team (12 team PPR, 10th pick) - tried to pick an elite back and build around them:

    QB - Matt Ryan
RB - Leonard Fournette, Lamar Miller, Dion Lewis, Tarik Cohen, Matt Brieda, James Conner
WR - Keenan Allen, Golden Tate, Cooper Kupp, Keelan Cole, DJ Moore
    TE - Evan Engram
    K - Josh Lambo
    DEF - Chicago Bears

We do 3 WR so I'm a little weak at the WR3 but I think I'll be alright.

Me too. My only hope is that things click with Ronald Jones and he becomes the Buc's top guy and gets a bulk of the carries.

Maybe after bye weeks if Brady is being Brady you can trade him for a decent Running Back and just roll with Jimmy G and Goff

Def another thought I had. That's why I opted to take Goff and Garoppolo when I did. I figured at some point, someone was going to need a starting QB.

Had my draft, 10 team, non PPR, picked 3rd.

    QB: Stafford
RB: David Johnson, McCaffrey, Kerryon Johnson, Crowell, Duke Johnson
WR: Baldwin, Cooper, Landry, Allen Robinson, Benjamin, John Brown
    TE: Engram
    K: Zuerline
    DST: Chargers

Reasonably pleased although outside of top 2 RB's, it's just 'depth'. Now just gotta hope I don't get David and Duke mixed up when selecting starters...

Hey man, I think Kerryon is a little more than depth once he starts.

Be careful with Doug Baldwin since he said he's gonna be playing hurt.

I'm definitely hoping so and figured he was worth an 8th round pick, but the Lions backfield does worry me a little and Blount will get the GL carries.

Baldwin hopefully be ok, and although would be bad to lose him, my WR depth is pretty decent (Cooper can't be as bad as last season, right...)

    Re: Fantasy Thread

Had a pretty good draft last night. 10 team, PPR, was 4th pick. One of the things I like to do and why I have like 17 teams is try different things in each draft.

    QB: Wilson, Goff
RB: Freeman, Cook, Lynch, Breida, Peterson
WR: Brown, Cooks, Crabtree, Kupp, Lockett
    TE: Kelce, Ertz
    DEF: Ravens
    K: Gostkowski

I took Kelce and Ertz with back to back picks, one will go in the flex slot. I did this TE strategy a few years back with Gronkowski and Graham and it worked out really well. Will have to see how it goes this year. My depth does leave something to be desired, especially at RB, but suppose I can always deal one of the TEs if I need to. Having 2 Rams receivers is not ideal but my team name is Cooper Troopers so I had to get at least one Cooper and I missed out on Amari.

Great for trade bait too (The duo TE's). A guy in my 12 man standard has Engram and Gronk.
