Well You can thank Mayor Rawlings Blake for that because the Crime Rate of off the charts thanks to her (Hands off initiative). She demanded her police force arrest less and less offenders and now Crime is un controllable as a result.

From 2007-2012 or 2013 I think they averaged around 80,000-100,000 arrests per year. Now with how crime ridden the city is they are arresting only 30,000 per year. This was direct demand from Rawlings Blake to cut the arrests in half.

This officer got outa hand. Yes. But like you said ..what happened before the beating? Maybe the City should release the body armor cam from the officer ?

Supposedly the officers were wearing body cams, so more video may be out as to what set him off. From what I saw in the video, it is hard to justify that kind of physical punching from the officer and he should be charged. What bothered me was that it had the look of a setup where the guy baited the officer by saying something to him or may have even spit on him(could not tell) and you hear the guy taking the video saying don't worry, he had it all on film. The officer took the bait, hook line and sinker and appeared to "lose it" which just can't happen as an officer.

So you're an expert, then? If you have studied as much as you claim to have, you should know not to generalize like you did. I could say that all white people are racists, based on the increase in race based crimes over the past 10 years. But I won't. Know why? Because I've lived long enough to know you can't indict an entire group based on the actions of a few.

381 black

If adjusted for percentage of the population, they would look more like this:

732 white
2,225 black (since according to the latest census, white Americans make up 76% of the population, while AA make up 13.4%)

See the disparity now?
