Re: Live look at the QB we will face week 1
It doesn’t matter how good your arm is when you get about a second to throw the ball. That Bills o-line is horrendous

The Bills are better off starting Peterman. I would not want to stick my 1st round rookie QB behind that oline.

Re: Live look at the QB we will face week 1
I think that you have to let it play out on the field (practice field, pre-season field, regular season field, etc.). Only teams with losing cultures handicap their depth chart competitions and use silly different reasons for starting some players over others. If a veteran journeyman beats out your blue chip to pick, you go with the guy who won the job and let the rookie carry the clipboard. If the rookie beats out the competition, he deserves to play week 1. I know that there's always an excuse and a reason, but it creates a better precedent when you reward merit and hard work and leave the talking and speculation to the media and the fans.

In a way, no. Tyrod would continue their mediocrity. They're pretty much the same team as last year, with Shady and Ivory a year older and Tremaine Edmunds in place of Preston Brown at MLB. And last year they outperformed their point differential by a good margin.
Mediocrity is hard to shake (just ask us, the Lions, the Dolphins, etc as of late). So they went and got a new rookie QB to see if he's better. In the meantime they should contend for worst record in the AFC. Maybe they can draft their new LT next year.
