Lexington Market has long had great tasting food. Not the healthiest in the world. Truth be told, what many in the food industry will tell you is that, sad to say, many of the places with the best food are the dirtiest places. That goes back decades and even is the case in other countries. Now, I've never seen a rat in food there before. I'll say that. I grew up on the other side of Martin Luther King Blvd. So, I'm used to the zombies.

What rat doesn't like cookies? Come on.

Color me skeptical, but it wouldn't have been very hard for some dumbass to put the rat in the case and then shoot a "Viral Video". I try to look at stuff like this with a cautious eye.

Yep, I'm afraid I've eaten there also when I was on a special Federal Grand jury for 6 months down in the city years ago. it always looked dirty there but the food was pretty good and you had many kinds of food to choose from. The market actually looks nicer now than it did back then, at least from the rat reports I've seen.

Trust me this isn't just a viral video. Rats have been an issue down there for as long as I can remember. Another market in the city (Northeast Market) was shut down yesterday due to rats.
