    Re: Strzok “testimony”

So here’s my problem. So even the DNC committee members agreed he was biased, but how can ANYONE claim that this bias didn’t reach into his professional standards. How many Trump people being investigated have received immunity? What was the basis and preparation of the Flynn interview he conducted vs Sheryl Mills? How many exonerations of Donald Trump has he authored at this point? How many lawyer statuses has he handed out to Trump attorneys and friends? See where I’m going with this? He was the lead in two investigations and conducted himself completely different in both. He was CLEARLY more lenient in his Hillary investigation. He handed out immunity, exonerations, and privileges left and right. Then, all of a sudden, he’s a pit bull, wrapped in an American flag of patriotism, as he uses questionably over the top methods against Trump people. Why not just ask him why he has conducted two investigations, within the matter of a few months, with a completely different approach?

Well, if some of the texts were done “late at night as he said” then I don’t know I’d consider that to be “government time”. Frankly, having known several men and women in the bureau, they’re technically always “on duty”....so are they not supposed to ever send personalized texts to someone else because they’re on government time?

Also, do we know the texts were sent/received on government-issued mobile devices? If so, then yes, he’s a dumbass because those are monitored and everyone knows it. First thing you get told when you get issued a govie blackberry js “this is only for USG business...no personal texts...no porn...no personal email...”

That being said, this Strzok Guy is such a clown shoe. I cannot imagine one woman agreed to marry him, let alone another decided to have an affair with him. He reminds me of Anthony Weiner.
Well, Lisa Page isn’t exactly a looker...

The actions taken during the Hillary investigation are what I wish they’d focus on.

They were sent from his work phone. He did it because he didn’t want to get caught having an affair. Yes, he is an idiot. I really wish he’d stop linking his actions to the FBI in general because the people I know there think he’s a piece of garbage bureaucrat, just like Comey. There’s certainly a ton of great men and women in the FBI, and then there’s the “who you know and who you blow” crowd that are purely willing to do, say, and be whatever they need to in order to cozy up to the right establishments. Strzok is a symptom of a branch of government that was ran on pure political corruption for over a decade.

I know it’s not a popular opinion, but I’ve actually changed my mind a bit on the whole text messages aspect of this.

Yes, he clearly was biased against Trump.
Yes, he seems like an arrogant prick.
Yes, he likely let his bias get in the way of the Hillary investigation.
Yes, he was probably more willing to kick off or be a part of the Russia-Collusion mess.

But I don’t really know how I feel about the fact that it seems like the lynchpin for why he’s a bad person and is guilty of wrongdoing is because of personal texts he sent in confidence to someone else.

I’d imagine every single one of us has at one point or another said something bad about a coworker or superior to someone else in confidence. I guess what I’m trying to say here is that the GOP members of Congress seem to be using the text messages as a way to really tear into this guy and the FBI when, in reality, the text messages don’t really prove much other than Strzok wasn’t a fan of Trump and didn’t want to see him get elected.

I still think the biggest thing they need to dig into is the Hillary emails/server crime. This whole thing is a distraction from that, IMO.

Spare me. You feel bad for the arrogant bastard (on full display yesterday) who applied two separate forms of justice because he liked on person and didn't like the other person, because his personal texts with his side piece became publicly known???????

No, I don’t feel bad for him. But way to put words into my mouth and cherry pick things so you can try and flame someone.

What exactly were you trying to convey with the above then???? Cause it appears you seem to be conflicted because the guys 'personal' texts with his side piece came out. And well couldn't we all be bad people if some of our personal stuff came out.

Yeah. Same. It’s just like any other job I suppose except at some point it got cleaned up during the 70’s and 80’s after having massive political corruption. Coming into the 90’s, politician rediscovered the leverage they could have if they JUST put some of “their guys” in there (ahem... Clinton’s). Beauracracy, though, is a cancer. 98% of the people there are doing a job, working in a department that’s squeaky clean. They’re finding child sex rings, stopping cyber money laundering, hunting down cells of terrorism. Then you have the internal investigation teams. People that are supposed to watch the government. They all get random houses and cars... vacations. They should accept none of it yet here we are. We have morons like Comey and McCabe. Making $125k in DC, and somehow have million dollar homes. Give me a break. These guys live on corruption. They openly take bribes and blackmail smaller politicians for larger ones. Why do you think Comey had private memos for all of his meetings that were SUPER detailed. He was planning on blackmailing Clinton and Trump for his own political game. Clinton & Obama were just playing the game... Trump wasn’t. That’s why we ONLY have his memos from Trump.
