Re: What happened to the Flacco passing camp?

I can watch every episode of the Simpsons before Joe gets back to the line to spike the ball.

Remember the 2002 season after the roster purge? That team lost a lot of games, but many regard it as one of BB best coaching seasons. A lot of folks look at the contracts and the performances and lambaste Joe for it. Likely, it is rightfully placed blame especially if you think a players' pay check should be an accurate indicator of how good they are. But seriously, trying to be objective, a lot of the teams we have fielded the past few years have been BAD. Joe has played like shit sometimes along the way as well. But I just don't see how folks can see all the holes, injuries, roster flux, coaching flux etc etc over the past few years and reduce it to simply "Joe sucks". That just seems like lazy analysis IMHO.
That was one of my favorite Ravens teams ever. That 2002 team played so damn hard. All these new guys, especially on defense, had been waiting for their chance to start. They played very well and lost about 3 games though some bad breaks. If Chris Redman doesn't get hurt and Jeff Blake wasn't such an asshole the record would have been better. It clearly was the foundation for the 10 win 2003 team.

In the history of the NFL, never has tossing around a football in somebody's back yard been weighed so heavily than by Ravens fans w/ Flacco.

Can't wait for this annual non-story to go away when Flacco is somewhere else next year.

Yet here you are. Of all places to be. Reading all about it and making comments about it. Must be a story in there somewhere.....
