You heard it guys. It's up to us to police the Land of Verdite.

Re: RIP Sun Forums
Forums are dying in general so I'm not surprised. It's actually amazing this place is still as active as it is, especially after the past couple of seasons.
I posted there a lot back in the day before this place became my main hangout. It was a decent place, as far as my memory goes. If they never instituted the paywall I'd probably still be posting there. It was the best Orioles forum around in the mid-late 2000's, as far as I'm concerned.
Goodnight, sweet prince.

The Sun Forums? You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy.

Re: RIP Sun Forums
It served it's purpose, but like all things, they faded away. I mean, I met a lot of you guys over there, then GOTA convinced me to mosey over here and it has been great. My interest in football died off heavily in the past year for reasons well documented, but I still enjoyed the vibe of this place.
Fortunately, things are looking up and I am looking a bit more forward to this year when we can focus on football. As for the influx of noobs, I doubt it will be any worse than when BaltimoreRavens.com shut their message board down. That place really sucked, had to have SPF 5,000 from all the sunshine bing blown up the teams ass over there.
If only "he who shall not be named donut eater" would disappear, then there'd be some celebrating.
I often worry about message boards going away, I used to belong to a great one, it was a fansite dedicated to John Carpenter's the Thing. Went there recently after a long layoff. Gone. All posts gone. Please join us on our "Facebook Page". Currently I have nothing to do with the Zeckerberg Evil Empire, but it is killing message boards just the same.
I don't think you'll ever see freedom like this place ever again.
