He's a businessman first and an NFL owner second. Coupled with Mr. Coachspeak, it's why I never take anything they say at face value. Sometimes it's true, like the "WR reset", other times it's all misdirection especially with anything draft-related.

Now I'm not saying I would do any better but if he is going to be the face of the franchise he needs to take some public speaking classes or something cause it is down right embarrassing at times. Now if he plays lights out and communicates well with his players/coaches; who cares how he is in front of the camera. But it would be nice to have the face of the franchise potentially be a little more well spoken.

Now I agree, he is saying the right things, but he needs to learn how to convey his message more clearly. I'm sure it comes with time.
Not kidding at all. He's not polished but he's not pretending to be either. I'd be more upset if he acted like he had all the answers or just spoke in the same cliches that so many athletes do. LJ knows that he has a lot to learn which is something that the dopey or arrogant never seem to understand

I don't know where Sug was, but I was still drunk and running around the streets of Denver replaying the Mile High Miracle and spouting Super bowl conspiracy theories when the Ravens gave Joe all that money. It was a glorious time, lol.

If true, then this was again Ozzie being patient, calculating Ozzie. Not only got the guy the owner wanted at 16, but also got a starting TE in the same round.

    Bo Smolka added,

No wonder the front office was so proud of themselves after the draft. Biscuit must've been hyperventilating by the time pick 32 came around, hahaha

My thing is I can understand why the FO cares who Biscuit wants at pick #16 but why the hell do they have to “talk him out of it”? How much decision-making power does he have on draft day?! Let them make their decisions in peace, Steve.
