    Mini-Camp Starts today

Thought I'd start a thread on the happenings of the 3-day Mini-Camp starting today. No news as of yet of course, but hopefully we'll get some reports starting this afternoon.

So far the only mini-camp related news is this piece from JH. Nothing really new or of note, other than Harbs hosting the rookies for a cookout.

    Question Re: Mini-Camp Starts today

Is this the Mini-Camp you speak of?

    I don't think he's a Raven anymore... Bc

Well hell, with Zrebiec gone from the Sun, who's the main Ravens coverage guy?

Harbaugh essentially acknowledged that it would be foolish to not get Lamar Jackson involved on offense in different ways when he’s going to be active on game days as backup QB. Harbaugh: “you got to use your good Players.”

C.J. Mosley said he gave zero thoughts about staying away from minicamp even as he enters last year of rookie contract. Mosley said he lets his agent handle the business matters while he stays focused on field.

That is a good attitude to have for a player who can see his next contract on the horizon... Bc

ESPN's Jamison Hensley reports Breshad Perriman has struggled with drops this offseason.

Hensley reports Perriman has dropped a pass in every practice open to the media so far this offseason. It is certainly not a new problem for the former first-rounder, but it is disappointing all the same. Due a $649,485 roster bonus on the third day of camp, it would not be surprising if the Ravens cut Perriman sometime in the next month.

"The Baltimore Ravens don't view a quarterback controversy between Joe Flacco and Lamar Jackson.

The Ravens see it as an opportunity for quarterback creativity.

Throughout the offseason, Baltimore has been putting Flacco and Jackson on the field at the same time. With Flacco playing quarterback, Jackson has lined up at multiple positions."

No biggie. As long as LJ's main position is QB, it's fine if we get him on the field here & there in other spots. Gadget plays or whatever.

This time next year, he's gonna only play QB.
