    Penalties and loss of OTAs

Has anyone heard more about this?

Per sources, Ravens will lose final two OTAs this week as a result of an undisclosed infraction of league rules. John Harbaugh and Steve Bisciotti also facing potential fines. Not sure of nature of infraction.

We already got in trouble two years ago for having full pads on at OTAs. I hope Harbs wasn't stupid enough to do that again...

They practiced in pads during rookie mini camp. I think they feel the trade off is worth it.

This is like the 3rd time in Harbs tenure that this has happened. He got caught when Heap turned him in his last year here for something similar.

Being reported that they were too aggressive with pass coverage contact. Harb fined $50K, Biscuit $100K

    I doubt they care

Heap? I thought it was Ben Watson. I dunno why a retired player would be involved. The rookie mini-camp in pads thing was two years ago.

Regardless, this is really inexcusable. I've been a Harbs guy, but I finally had enough and was ready to move on this past offseason. This just reinforces my decision. I like him, but stuff like this and his coordinator choices leave a lot to be desired.

Thanks. I had a hard time believing he'd be that dumb, to get popped for the same offense that they did in 2016.

Maybe this explains why we always have so many injuries....

Statements from Newsome, Harbaugh imply that violations came from rookies, other young players. Newsome: "Sometimes breaking old practice habits of these players, especially rookies, takes more repetitions. We'll continue to be vigilant about this."

Something I noticed last season... most of the injuries were out of the way early. Ravens stayed relatively healthy in the winter.
