OTAs
http://www.espn.com/nfl/team/_/name/...ltimore-ravens
The Good: Per Hensley, "Joe Flacco is passing the ball at a different level than the other three quarterbacks on the Ravens roster right now. He has been throwing tight spirals and showing good touch on deep throws into tight coverage. On Thursday, Flacco connected with Chris Moore and Breshad Perriman on downfield passes and he should have had another big completion if not for a Perriman drop ( ). Flacco looks healthy and leaner than previous years."
And the Not So Good : Per Hensley, "Thursday's practice was a bad one for the Ravens wide receivers. Rookie fifth-round pick Jordan Lasley had three drops, and John Brown, Willie Snead and Breshad Perriman each had passes go off their hands. Baltimore needs more consistent play from its receivers in order for the NFL's No. 29 passing attack to improve."
Crabtree should be decent for them, but I'm not sold on Brown and Snead, with Snead coming off a terrible 2017 season and Brown being bad each of the last two seasons. And then there's Perriman.Never get in a fight with a pig; you both get muddy, and the pig likes it...

Re: OTAs
Catching passes from Flacco does takes an adjustment, because he throws the ball very hard. I'm not talking about accuracy or lack thereof. Just the sheer velocity with which he throws. What was Steve Smith Sr.'s comment to Torrey Smith after catching a pass in practice? "You caught that one out of self defense".

Re: OTAs
Rookie TEs Hurst and Andrews need to grow up fast, 'cause Flacco will need reliable hands on 3rd down that can also get some YAC.

Re: OTAs
From FilmStudy:
Anthony Levine is still recovering from foot surgery, Harbaugh mentioned during his interview. It looks to me as if Wink Martindale’s defense will include regular dime looks and both Chuck Clark and Tony Jefferson were used in a variety of alignments.
