Must be a misprint, MSM doesn't report stuff like that.

    Quick question about conceal carry.

Is it something you have to test for on a regular basis to re-approve (say every 5 years), or once you get the conceal carry license is it yours for life?

If you can get one that’s accepted here in the People’s Republic of Maryland ...it’s good for life. Mine is good in 20 states ...not here though. Some states are open carry. No license required.

This is true but CCR is right ....usually the MSM doesn’t support or report about anything positive when it comes to guns or the 2nd Ammend

Here in NC, you have to renew it every 5 years. You can lose it, or not be able to renew it if there are reasons, felonies etc.

If you let it lapse you have to retest etc.

Filth while I agree this situation got out of hand...
The guy wasn’t arrested, he wasn’t violently handled nor was he even hand cuffed. Why??
Because unlike a lot of people this guy
    1. Knew his rights.
    2.Cooperated with police.

For the record ...he’s way wrong on the rifle the cop was carrying. It’s NOT an AK-47 ( no US police or solders use the AK). It’s also NOT an AR. Most law enforcement use H&K MP-4s or the Colt/Winchester M-4. Smaller more efficient version of the M-16.

Gotta test for the Florida permit. It’s basically good forever ...barring arrest or things like that.

I'm with this. No one should be able to get a forever pass.

People snap. People get head injuries that change them forever. People get old and senile.

Im all for licensed carry, but you should have to prove you are still responsible enough to have that power.
