4 out of those guys will be major contributors and starters. Humphrey and Jackson have the chance at being legitimate stars. Lasley could too.
    Elliot as well.

I'm with you BC. Bowser clearly is an athletic freak who can rush the passer. Remember his sack in Pittsburg when NOBODY could get pressure? But of course he's right back to the bench after. Personally, I'd be looking to trade ZDS. I like him but he's already reached his ceiling and is stunting the growth of 2 pass rushers who have crazy potential but just need reps.

I certainly think Elliot could become a star. The potential is there. I didn't mention him because right now he has Tony Jefferson sitting in front of him, so it's going to be tough for Elliot to get a lot of meaningful snaps unless Jefferson gets hurt.

True. He's more of a future piece for us. I wouldn't be surprised if we saw him lined up next to CJ in some packages. Similar to a Deone Buchanan or Mark Barron. He can crack(hit) for real..

    Possible 2019 casualties/retirements?

Every champion has its short list of vets, but champ or not, you also have to bite the bullet at some point.

Well, clearly Joe is likely a 2019 casualty.

I've often felt that Yanda could be gone as well due to his age, nagging injuries, and cost. Lot of depth on OL right now (assuming they can stay healthy).

I think Carr, Levine, and McClellan are in the final year of their deals right now.

I definitely see Weddle being a casualty. They were considering Derwin James in round-1...I can see them looking to cut him.

Youth doesn't instantly equate to championships. For example, the Patriots have that the one guy on his team who's 41 or 42 now, and they seem to be doing pretty well. Why bother bringing up players at all if you just discard them when they're 24, 25, 26? Award roster spots for quality and talent, not pre-conceived notions.

Something tells me this draft class is going to be special, don't be surprised of last years class too, some of those youngin's coming back injury are going to be hungry, all positions are up for grabs.

Good point, Mac, I'd add that 2018 is Za'Smith's walk year too. If he has a good year we will probably lose him anyway, and a mid-round comp pick doesn't turn me on. I'll repeat you : his being on the field will also stunt the development of Bowser and TWill. How are we ever going to know what they can do if they don't get playing time? ... Bc

The average age of the team right now is 24.73 years.
That average age is misleading because of all the training camp fodder. I suspect the team will be middle-of-the-pack age wise come the start of the season, and be even younger next season.

The Ravens have had 30 draft picks the last three years. An average of ten players drafted a year.
