Too bad no one listened to this interview, it would have made for some good convo on ignored or glossed over aspects of Lamar Jackson's game.

Re: Filmstudy Podcast: Domonique Foxworth on Lamar Jackson
Take it with a grain of salt that it is just one person's opinion - that said, Foxworth substantiated his claims/beliefs with real data.
TL;DR/L - Foxworth believes that the current Raven's offense isn't too far removed from a system that would make LJ successful. He's always been in a pocket passing system (vs. spread/WCO concept), and his athleticism gives the OC more flexibility to add in read-option. The benefit of having a super athletic pocket passer is that it forces the defense to play more zone because the QB is almost always a threat to run out of the back field. Doesn't feel his accuracy issues are insurmountable, has to do more with footwork than anything.
If you're on the fence, I HIGHLY suggest listening.
This was one of the best FSR podcasts I've listened to - as much as I love Josh/Ken's banter and general hating on Perriman.... Strong football talk and knowledge from everyone involved!
