I don't disagree with that. Plus, a huge school like Florida probably has an incredible number of graduates, right? How big is their school? 25,000 students? More?


I was just saying that I understand that these kids are excited with their accomplishment and could let their emotions get the best of them.

I agree with this. I remember many moons ago, graduations dragging on for ever and if you were in the audience,you wanted them to move on as quickly as possible. Funny thing about this incident, back when I was graduating or watching someone graduate, it was the occasional parents etc. in the audience who would clap and scream and delay the ceremony. They would even announce to the audience beforehand to hold your applause till after the ceremony, but many did not listen. Now it's the all about me generation, selfie millennials, that want to draw attention to themselves. It is who they are.

Dude. I understand that “Typical Black University’s “ have their own culture and traditions. In this case none of that matters because UF isn’t a “Traditional Black College”. If this was Grambling or Samford or whichever ...this would t be news. It’s not news anyway. Don’t be a sheep.
