10 years after being fired I still hear Brian Billick speak about Ozzie with the greatest of reverence. Maybe he hasn't done as well as a GM in recent years but that is separate from how he Ozzie is a man. Ozzie proved that high character can lead to greatness in everything you do.

Joking aside, Ozzie seems like a great man. To echo the sentiments of others, it is very rare that NOBODY has a bad word to say about someone.

The good is Ozzie is really trusted. I think his method of allowing players to test the market and come back for a "fair" offer sits well with agents and players. It's part of the reason we've landed some high profile players. (Regardless of whether they panned out.)

The bad is that I'm also sure Ozzie is also liked because he's given out some very player-friendly deals lately.

Interesting none the less.

Kind of seems like the top guys have been around a long time. Belichick and Colbert have been around for nearly 20 years or more like Ozzie, so relationships get built over time.
