The fact is that we are in a tremendous amount of debt and the Federal Reserve continues to print money, which devalues it and increases inflation.

By controlling the MENA region and their resources, we can hold countries that we're indebted to at bay (like China, for instance).

It's all about natural resources folks - particularly fossil fuels. Yet another reason to really move away from fossil fuels permanently and across a much larger spectrum.

If the gubberment were serious about fixing these issues (but they're not, because they're not going to be alive to see what happens), then they'd make sweeping cuts across the board.

DOE - gone
DOEd - gone
USPS - gone
DoD - Greatly reduced in terms of spend and reach (we just don't need everything they spend on).
DHS - Disbanded and folded under something else...DOJ perhaps?

Then, tackle energy issues.

USPS is self run. It's budget does not come from the federal government (tax dollars). That's why the price of stamps and shipping through USPS goes up every year. It's the USPS's only revenue source.
