He's really bad in coverage, but since he'd likely be cheap at this point, I'd be okay with Bowman. Everyone says we need a coverage LB, and we do, but it's not like the run support from the position was great last year either. I don't know that I'd say Peanut was a liability, but he wasn't very good. Their best solution may be a guy like Bowman on early downs and liberal usage of someone like Levine as dime in pass situations.
Not like great coverage guys at the LB position grow on trees. Unless they were to draft Smith and I'm assuming given his draft projections he's at least average as a coverage guy, you probably aren't going to find a 3 down solution there at this point.
