My opinion on what Ozzie is thinking with these wr signings

So today, ozzie signed two guys: john brown and ryan grant. Brown is a small deep-threat with reliable hands and always capable to take it to the endzone; Grant is a small possession wide receiver who is supposed to be our new sssr/boldin type(not saying he’ll be as good). Based on the fact that these guys are pretty similar in that they are small and quick, I believe ozzie will turn his attention to grabbing either big, endzone threats at wr or te. Overall, I like what he’s doing right now and could see him building a solid wr core for next year. What do you guys think?

These are panic moves. The top 5 guys they had targeted all went elsewhere. Now it’s grab any body. The only good news is that we’ll have a shot at the top QB in next years draft.

But to answer the question I believe that Ozzie is, with all due respect, full of shit. :)

Exactly right. We can't attract top free agents any longer. No receiver is saying he's taking less to come play in Baltimore.

These moves are on par with pre-season roster cuts, just way more expensive

Color me unimpressed. I'd love to eat my words, but this seems like we're replacing garbage with trash.
Never get in a fight with a pig; you both get muddy, and the pig likes it...
